Cinnamon Oatmeal Oatmilk ** 2023 Limited Edition**
$ 4.75
Fragrance Description:
What happens when your lactose intolerant friends visit leaving you 3/4 of a half gallon of oatmilk? Well I experiment and make soap with it!
Since I was using oatmilk, I added oats as well to add that nice gentle exfoliation (just like my oatmeal milk & honey)
Then I sat and thought... what fragrance should I use? I looked through my trusty box of essential oils and what screamed "use me"? Cinnamon Leaf
Now what is the difference between cinnamon leaf and cinnamon bark you ask: Cinnamon leaf essential oil has a more herbaceous and green aroma compared to cinnamon bark. It carries a fresh and slightly sharp scent that is reminiscent of green leaves. Despite the green notes, cinnamon leaf still maintains its spiciness and warmth, characteristic of cinnamon. Cinnamon leaf also contains natural eugenol, a compound also found in cloves, which adds a slightly medicinal and clove-like aspect to the scent.
Overall the scent of cinnamon leaf is often described as brighter and more uplifting than cinnamon bark. Enjoy!
